About Saroo Brierley

Saroo Brierley is an Indian-Australian author and entrepreneur best known for his memoir, The Long Way Home, which recounts his extraordinary journey of finding his birth family after being separated from them for 25 years. Born in Khandwa, India, Saroo was accidentally separated from his family at the age of five and ended up in an orphanage in Calcutta. He was later adopted by an Australian family and grew up in Tasmania.
