About Jocko Willink, Leif Babin

Jocko Willink and Leif Babin are former Navy SEAL officers and co-authors of the influential book The Dichotomy of Leadership. Jocko Willink, a decorated retired Navy SEAL officer, served as the commander of SEAL Team 3’s Task Unit Bruiser during the Battle of Ramadi, one of the most intense urban combat operations in the Iraq War. His leadership and strategic acumen have earned him numerous accolades, including the Silver Star and Bronze Star. Leif Babin, also a highly decorated former Navy SEAL officer, served as the assistant platoon commander for Task Unit Bruiser. Together, they co-founded Echelon Front, a leadership consulting firm that teaches the principles of extreme ownership and effective leadership to organizations worldwide.
